Lets put nature into recovery

11th May 2019 @ 11:00 am - 10:00 pm

The Wildlife Trust for Birmingham and the Black Country are running a community event on Saturday 11th May at Willenhall Memorial Park and Fibbersley Nature Reserve from 11 am.

Come along and join in with pond-dipping, building hibernation homes for frogs, path clearance and litter picking and searching for amphibians!

About the event

To support the Government’s Year of Green Action we are organising lots of Wild Action Days where you can get involved to make your neighbourhood a wildlife haven.

We’re working with Walsall Council and Friends of Fibbersley Nature Reserve to deliver a Wild Day of Action for everyone!

Join our team of experts and volunteers to sample practical conservation activities, make nature crafts or join our walks and talks.  Everyone is welcome and no experience needed

FREE My Wild Neighbourhood tote bag for all attendees

11-1pm – Table top pond dipping in pavilion

1-3pm – Litter picking at Fibbersley Nature Reserve

1-3pm – Fibbersley Nature Reserve Path Clearance

2-4pm – How to build your own pond demonstration

9pm Amphibian Torching – Booking Essential for this activity – see below for booking
